Voice chat

hiya gang i am looking into voice chat for us, i am looking for a free 1 cause atm credcard is maxd other wise i'd set us up a privet server, but just as a way to talk to guild members i think a simple free 1 will do for now if any of have any suggestions as to the type of VC to use pls let me know there is 1 that i'm looking at xfire which most of u guys know and 1 called gsc go to getgsc.com take a look see what u think this gsc i belive will allow us to make sep room channels for for diff events and such ie: guild channel grb channel and other privet chaneels for ppl who want to talk to an officer or Sirspace with out other listening in, so in saying this i would like ppls opinion about the voice chat and what would be goood to use for all members of the guild hope to be talking to u all soon

well... skype is a free voice chat function =P but i wouldnt recommend it, only if its last choice
i would rather recommend Ventrilo or TeamSpeak, it might cost.. but you also could just ask ppl who own servers to let you get a room... very often you need to use mirC (irC) if you dont want to pay to use it, pl use to let ppl have channels if you join their irC channel for x min/hrs with x amount of ppl instant and then you get the channel and can make your own rooms in it thats for Ventrilo, im not sure how they do it with TeamSpeak =P

ya i was thinking team speak, ya skype is more of a telephony and all the great for what we want i'll look into what u suggest but i've never use mirc or irc so not sure on how its workd but be better if guild has its own ts server that the ideal thing. i will look into that as soon as i get money on credcard....................................... ummmm maybe use xife for now if ppl want just for stop gap still we get something more perm what u all think?

well irc aint something u use to speak with... I personal only use it if i play counter-strike, not to talk with or anything, but to find pcw and mix to play against ppl or join someone
when you join somebodys channel you idle them and often ppl give away rooms for clans/guilds/groups if they make 5( for exaple ) ppl idle their channel for x min or hrs, of course you have to ask them

At the moment, if you are still interested in Voice communications, I am a Clan co-leader of a Community called Trigger happy gamerz. This communtiy sPecialises in most FPS's out there example Counterstrike Source, Bstlefield 2, COD 4 and 5 of which we play in leagues.

We own a substantial slotted Teamspeak 2 server.

As i play on shaiya alot too, if needed i could suggest a channel on the Teamspeak server, for us guys to go and talk, and be left to it. If you want anymore info, let me know

yeah riddlez seems to have a good idea there, and also, i dont have xfire....i didnt download it with shaiya... could someone tell me how to get it?
